After brainstorming seed keywords, make a list of essential and relevant topics in your niche which you know.

So if I want first to target on content writing keywords and research what people are searching for or what queries they are typing in google. I also see how many people have the same problem and also analyse how big my competitors are.

I search on google for content writing, and it shows me on the top authoritative blog in content writing.

Then I use the Ahrefs free keyword generator tool to find how many search volumes are in this particular Keyword. With both phrase match and questions.

As you can see, I got some topics related to the keyword “content writing” with good volume. I will shortlist few keywords from in my keyword research sheet.

How to do Keyword Research with Google Keyword Planner?

One free tool for keyword research is google keyword planner. Google’s Adwords keyword tool is an excellent way to conduct keyword research, but you need to know how to select the best words and phrases for your site. You can guarantee that the bulk of your competition focuses on highly searched words, so aim for niches to catch significant traffic on specific search terms.

To use this, first, you have to click on https://ads.google.com/intl/en_IN/home/.

 Then signIn with your Gmail id. 

After signing in, you have to go to the tools and setting, .

Click on the planning submenu, and click keyword planner. After that, you can search keywords in more detail in terms of low competition with good volume

As you can see below, competition is low, for the keyword volume is much higher.

You can enter more related keywords in this free tool to check for the KD and search volume. 

How do I find my popular Keywords?

In this paid tool keywordtool.io, I find more details of keyword but it was not showing overall. You have to pay charges to unlock its features.

Google also gives the trending search-related long keywords which users are also searching. 

So you can use these keywords to find keywords for website content.

As you understand this now, it’s time to start shortlisting every keywords and segregate the keywords manually or exporting from CSV to spreadsheets.
